Yesterday was the last day of school and since I’m taking a leave of absence next year, there were a lot of goodbyes. It was bittersweet, for sure. I had so many kids, parents, and teachers thank me for all that I’ve done and tell me how I’ve impacted their lives. That was pretty amazing to hear. The student who introduced me during graduation (I gave a speech) was so kind, I started crying before my speech even began. It's weird/hard to realize that any job after this can only be less amazing.
